THE EVENT AS A COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY: PROCESS EVOLUTION

The event as a communication technology has been accompanying man and mankind since ancient times. Chains of such events determine reality, causes and effects. There is a need to model events as a tool for creating and managing communication processes. In the history of the emergence of human civilization, events played the role of the initiator, creator, keeper and disseminator of collective narrations. Culture, according to Yu.M. Lotman, is the sum of human experiences, the non-genetic heritage of mankind. The study of special events allows you to use such events as a tool that manages communication processes, culture, politics, business, science and more. In the information society of the 21st century, special events are a designator that connects a large number of worlds created by digital tools: gaming, artistic, technical, cinematic, and so on. The article discusses the main stages in the evolution of special events from the point of view of their influence on the formation of the modern space of public communications. The main method was the analysis of special literature in order to study the state of the identified problem. The study used the works of the following authors: Birkenbil V., Borozdina G. V., Vinokur T. G., Gorelov I. N., G. Ferge, B. Pascal, F. de Saussure, V. Humboldt, Shpet G. G. and others. The case study examines key events in the development of human culture and civilization. These events, connected as cause and effect, initiated the processes of development of the public communications space from the creation of the first narratives to the modern digital information society. Each, even the smallest team, has its own events, which are created on the basis of stories, texts, and rules that exist and are approved in such a society. Events are formed with the help of a narrative context, and serve to reproduce a new narration. Thus, cultural genesis takes place, both in small subcultural groups and in the whole civilization. In this regard, the study of the event communication space, its dynamics, laws and possibilities seems necessary.
