The article deals with the problem of understanding the humanistic ideal in philosophy of Russian cosmism. These attitudes influence the perception of the humanistic ideal. In the article a special place is given to one of the key concepts of Russian cosmism – anthropocomism. This is the doctrine of the importance and role of man in the cosmos, its connection with the cosmic function. Such Russian thinkers as Fedorov, Umov, Uspensky and Vernadsky made a significant contribution to the development of this idea. They offered their unique interpretations, directly considered within the framework of the article. Analysis of the facts allows us to conclude that modern man is an active cosmic force capable of influencing the world as a whole. The global type of worldview based on anthropocosmism calls man to global responsibility, striving for creation, unity and interconnectedness. These values and principles help modern man to find harmony with himself and the world around him. Analyzing the phenomenon of projectivity, we can assert that the humanistic ideal of cosmism gives a person the opportunity to develop, improve and contribute to the development of the world. Each person becomes a small world capable of influencing the general cosmos. Thus, the philosophy of Russian cosmism offers not only theoretical reasoning, but also practical principles. It is they that can help modern man to become better, develop and live in accordance with his highest values and ideals.
