The author addresses the didactic aspects of building the logic of writing a final qualifying work in the direction of "Media communication". The problem is that the final qualifying work should demonstrate the formation of all bachelor's competencies, and this is possible only if the final qualifying work is a media communication product: a computer game, a feature or documentary film, an animated film, a mobile application, a clip, a show on YouTube, etc. The main research methods were comparative and descriptive. The material of the analysis was the final qualifying works of students of the direction "Media Communications" of the Faculty of Journalism of Chelyabinsk State University, defended in 2023. The article presents the structure of the final qualifying work as a didactic model, illustrated by excerpts from the text of the protected final qualifying work.
