MEDIA REALITY AS A CONDITION FOR TRANSFORMATION OF RATIONALITY AND FORMS OF SENSITIVITY

The article is devoted to the philosophical understanding of the process of changing of the forms of sensibility and rationality in the conditions of media reality. In the course of the research, means from the arsenal of philosophical knowledge are used. The research is based on the results of domestic and foreign research in the field of media philosophy and analytics of modern media. A holistic understanding of the essential nature of media requires a philosophical approach to the problem. Media are the environment of feeling, thinking, interpretation. The specificity of digital and network media is found in a special self-referential activity, expressed in the production of attention and events. In this regard, the issue of medial forms of sensibility, which are the result of the transformation of spatial and temporal parameters of perception in the conditions of media reality, was considered. The answer to existing challenges should be a turn to the foundations of media rationality, as a result of rethinking the possibilities of reason in the conditions of media reality, in particular, the phenomenon of medial hypersynthesis of manifestations of communication. In the context of media, the question of the limits of transcendental synthesis and antinomies takes on a different dimension compared to the earlier form of rationality. On the one hand, precisely due to the fact that in the case of media rationality we are dealing with an “enhanced” synthesis, the problem of antinomies (as productive contradictions) may turn out to be redundant. In this context, one of the promising areas of media-philosophical research is the question of the possibility of formulating intellectual regulatory schemes of media reality. Ultimately, the media reality confronts us with the problem of the conditions for the implementation of the mind in the conditions of media transformation.
