RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION «ROMAN AND GERMAN PHILOLOGY IN THE MODERN WORLD»

On March 18-19, 2025, the Russian scientific conference with international participation «Roman and German Philology in the Modern World» was held at St. Petersburg State University of Economics. The conference brought together more than 100 researchers from Russia and foreign countries.  Preserving the traditions of the Russian schools of Germanic and Romance studies, analyzing new methods and tools of scientific research in the field of philology, further development of Russian-European relations in the sphere of science and culture were the main goals of the conference. The conference discussed topical issues of linguistics of text and discourse, literary studies, linguistic ethics, cognitive linguistics, linguoculturology, lexicology, genre stylistics, translation and intercultural communication, as well as pedagogy and linguodidactics.
