The article presents the results obtained during research into several aspects of hate speech in the discourse related to the current conflict between Palestine and Israel in the social network X (formerly Twitter). Hate speech has certain aspects, and the basic ones - delegitimization, stereotyping and demonization – are dealt with in the article, with examples for each aspect. Besides, some other features of hate speech specific for the conflict in question are analyzed, such as the use of euphemisms, word play and some nonverbal elements. The X network was chosen as a source of language material because it has worldwide coverage and readership, and its contributors live in diverse countries of the world. Besides, the main textual feature in X is the limited size of messages and comments, which encourages the contributors to be more brief and, therefore, expressive.
